Build hope and healthy families through a helping hand program of structured housing. Allow families with children to remain together in a safe and decent living environment so that they may grow strong, become self-reliant, transform their lives, and crush the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
Our Values
The Community of Hope Board Values:
• Fostering self-reliance • Drug-free homes • Education for children • Healthy, safe, and affordable homes
We do not discriminate based on age, race, color, sex, gender, national origin, religion or disability.
What We Do
Community of Hope serves homeless families who have children by providing a variety housing options in an effort to move families from homelessness to self sufficiency.
Why A Kitchen Table?
Something that the Board of Directors, and all of the Community of Hope staff, feels is very important is making sure that every family has a good kitchen table when they move into their new home.
But why a kitchen table? It's a place that families come together: for meals, for conversation, for board games, and for discussions. It's a place for homework and tax filing, drawing (on paper!) and stories.
A kitchen table connects each family member to the others, the center of daily activities no matter what their age. That is what we are about at Community of Hope: helping families to find stability and connection, and that starts at home, with a safe and affordable housing.
Our Vision:
To transform lives with Hope and Dignity
